This video shows how to foremilk cows prior to attaching the cluster unit for milking. It is a legal requirement to foremilk all cows to check for signs of mastitis: watery, discoloured or clotted milk. To attach the unit one teat at a time, approach from the side or between the hind legs. The vacuum will start when the claw piece is lifted.
