Dr Hannah O'Regan presents an overview of the new collaborative AHRC-funded project "Box Office Bears (BOB): animal baiting in early modern England." as oart of Our Shared Human Past seminar series.
BOB combines archaeology, theatre history, animal studies, ancient DNA, and much more, to tell the stories of the animals as well as the people who were involved in this practice from ~AD 1500-1700.
