OptiMACS H2020 project: Optimisation of Multifunctional Aerospace Composite Structures

OptiMACS (H2020 ITN Grant No 764650) brings together a team of enthusiastic researchers to develop, deliver and implement novel, accurate and efficient structural Multidisciplinary Design Optimisation (MDO) tools. The design takes into account all operational constraints (i.e. reliability, stability, strength, weight, noise, manufacturability and cost). The project aims to bring together Universities, industries and research centres from all across the world to train a new generation of researchers, scientists and engineers by imparting them with a wide variety of technical and transferable skills.
