Traditional fruit gardens planted by indigenous communities in the Malaysian rainforest increase the diversity of the animals who make it their home. The study, led by researchers at The University of Nottingham’s campuses in the UK and Malaysia, has shown that the impact of humans can have positive outcomes for the conservation of this precious ecosystem when managed effectively. This video is a collection of examples of frugivory that occur in the forests of Malaysia but some of these species were not detected at the study site.
