Mr Neil Smyth (the Senior Librarian for the Faculty of Arts)
discusses with Professor. Tom O’Loughlin (Department of Theology and Religious Studies)
how Undergraduates can make the best use of the university library. A university
library is far more than a place with lots of books which you can borrow;
working in it should be seen as an adventure and learning how to use it
effectively is transformational: it trains you to be an active and critical
searcher and self-learner.
The University wants every student to get the full
value out of the library – and watching this video is a step in learning how to
do that.
